  • Joel D. Zychick - Founder and Chairman

    Joel has more than 20 years of hands-on experience as a practicing lawyer and as a corporate executive. Joel is President and Chief Executive Officer of Zcounsel LLC, a consulting and advisory firm he founded in 1999. Zcounsel provides consulting and advisory services to development and early stage growth companies, with a focus on healthcare and technology. Prior to the formation of Zcounsel, He was a Partner of the New York law firm of Hertzog, Calamari & Gleason where he directed its tax and business investment practices during the period 1986-1997. During that time he represented several enterprises in the ophthalmic medical device and retail segments, including representation on their private placements, strategic sales and initial public offerings. He served as president and chief executive officer of GETKO Group, Inc. ("GETKO") from 1996-1999, then a division of Cendant Corporation (NYSE), after he sold the enterprise to Cendant on behalf of a client. Joel is a co-founding shareholder and a former member of the board of managers of The Egg Factory, LLC.

  • Henry Miller - Legal, Regulatory and Financial Coordinator

    Henry is a principal of and a consultant to Enhanced Capital Partners, LLC (ECP). Prior to joining ECP Henry was Managing Director and Principal of Halcyon Development Company, LLC (Halcyon). He was with Freeport-McMoRan natural resource companies for over 13 years serving as Vice President Taxes and General Counsel of Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. (FCX), a premier international publicly traded mining company. Mr. Miller is currently a consultant to FCX. He has significant international business, legal, and tax experience in the areas of business development, portfolio oversight, corporate restructuring, and financial instruments along with IPO experience on four continents.

  • Adam Hofheimer - Manager

    Adam is a member of the Company's Board of Managers. Adam was a member of the management team at The Egg Factory (TEF). While at TEF, he was involved in the development and subsequent license to Johnson & Johnson of a proprietary spectacle lens technology. His work at TEF included project oversight, corporate communication, coordinating venture funding and government affairs. Prior to joining TEF, Adam was acting Policy Director for a former Lt. Governor of Virginia where he directed the legislative agenda for the Virginia General Assembly and directed all office communications. He began his career as a political consultant, where he provided political and legislative advice to a variety of candidates for public office and corporations. Adam holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from East Carolina University.

  • Oliver Smith - Chief Scientific Officer

    Oliver holds a B.S. in Chemistry and a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is the former director of the University's International Formulations and Coatings Institute, a position he has help since 1998 until his retirement in 2004. Prior to joining the University, Dr. Smith was associated with the Union Carbide Corporation in a number of research and development positions including Technology Manager for Vinyl Latexes and Senior Research Scientist. Dr. Smith holds 45 US patents and has published extensively in the areas of waterborne polymers and coatings. Dr. Smith is a member of The American Chemical Society; the Federation of Societies for Coatings Technology; and the Southern Society for Coatings Technology.
